 chief Minister Vijay Rupani has announced an aid scheme to encourage the use of battery-powered two-wheeler in the cities and towns of the state to curb air pollution from vehicles. Under this assistance scheme, the government will provide assistance of Rs 12,000 to students studying from Std-9 to college in the state to purchase a battery-powered two-wheeler. The target is to provide subsidy to vehicles.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has introduced “Gujarat two wheeler subsidy scheme“. Gujarat Government will provide subsidy of 12,000 rupees to school students studying in Standard-9th to colleges for battery-operated two-wheelers. Gujarat Electric Vehicle Scheme 2021: Online Application Form PDF Download – As per the report by Indian Express, The Gujarat government has announced a new scheme for the promotion of electric vehicles (two and three-wheelers) in the state, under which it will be offering a subsidy to buyers of electric vehicles in the state.

Furthermore, the state government will provide assistance of Rs 48,000 for the purchase of battery-powered e-rickshaws for individual and institutional beneficiaries. The subsidy will provide for first 10,000 two-wheelers and 5,000 three-wheelers.

The government also announced that ten public charging stations will be set up in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot to facilitate charging of e-vehicles. A sum of Rs 50 lakh has been earmarked for setting up these charging stations.

Step 1- Visit the Official Website of Gujarat Electric e-Vehicle Scheme i.e. gujarat.gov.in.

Step 2- On the Homepage, Click on the Option “Apply Online” button.

Step 3- Application Form page will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4- Now enter the required details (Mention all the details such as name, father name, date of birth, gender, Educational Qualification and other information) and upload necessary documents.
